This year’s reunion
promises to be one of the biggest and best ever.
As a reminder, the dates are July 24-26.
Folks are coming from all over to celebrate one last time with Bing Vick
as the director of Furman Singers.
Committees are fast at work putting together the final details for this
spectacular event. One of the most exciting
aspects of our reunion is how much of our activity will be on the Furman
Campus. We have secured a
limited number of apartments in the North Village for housing our Alumni
for the weekend. We will
have our first two rehearsals in the Herring Music Pavilion.
On Friday we will have a reception at the Younts Conference
Center and our banquet on Saturday will be in the recently renovated
Dining Hall. Dr. Vick is planning a wonderful concert. We will perform at First Baptist Church, Greenville on Sunday morning. With the crowd we expect, we may have to put the Singers in the pews and let the congregation sit in the choir loft!! Registration will open on March 1. This will be handled primarily online through the Furman website. Call-in assistance will be available. You will receive an email announcement in advance with additional details regarding price and schedules.
